- Step 4: Install Pass-thru driver Only when you install Pass-thru driver can you test the car Select install from a list or specific location (Advanced),click on Next. Save driver to C:/ACTIA/Drivers VCI/PT1G. Click on Next USB passthru driver installation complete. Click on Finish.
- From I+ME Actia: PassThru+ XS USB Driver is a VCI (vehicle communication Interface) enabling you to communicate with the ECU's according to the J2534 specification.
- The updated J2534 driver must be downloaded and installed on your PC to communicate with the VCI and perform any reprogramming. Updated Evolve and VCI software will not work with your PC unless you download and install the newest PC software, available below.
